Eatery Expansion; Chocolate Pairings; New Happy Hour

NORTH PARK— Neighborhood bistro Hanna's Gourmet expanded recently, adding over 30 seats to their dining room and extending their food offerings beyond brunch and lunch into dinner service. Chef/owner Hanna TefsamichaeI, who does a weekly World Tour menu, highlighting different global cuisines, has added entrees that include shrimp in tomato curry sauce with arugula, paneer cheese and cashews and cilantro noodles with seared salmon. SEAPORT DISTRICT— The Dallmann Fine Chocolates location in The Headquarters has just launched a series of chocolate pairing events in their new upstairs tasting room, including a chocolate and cheese pairing this Friday, June 20; future pairings include chocolate with beer and wine. DOWNTOWNWaters Fine Foods' downtown location is newly open until 7 p.m. and has a new weekday 4 to 7 p.m. happy hour that includes 1/2 off beer and wine by the glass or bottle ($2 for glasses of local craft beer and $3.50 for some wines).
