Puesto La Jolla Unveils Expansion, Adds to Menu

Puesto La Jolla just revealed their newly-completed Puesto Bar/Living, a new full-service extension adjacent to their original quick-service spot. Designed by Thomas Schoos, the space adds another 1,000-square-feet to their footprint on Wall Street and reflects the color and style of their downtown showpiece in The Headquarters.

Puesto Bar/Living will offer the full menu, from shareable antojitos (including a new tostada trio) to larger plates and their signature tacos made with handmade tortillas. The restaurant will continue to operate its fast-casual taco line next door until 4 p.m.; in the evenings, both eating spaces and their outdoor patio will feature full service dining until 9 p.m. on weeknights and 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. There's also brunch every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A full bar means speciality cocktails from the Queen-Conner-Ward Collective and wine and beer on tap, plus red and white sangria poured from glass jugs perched above the bar.
