Craft Beer & Casual Seafood Landing on Adams Avenue

Eater's got details on a new eatery headed to Adams Avenue that'll be a neighbor of Soda & Swine and Polite Provisions.

Beerfish is the latest from Abel Kaase, who opened Sessions Public on the border of Ocean Beach and Point Loma in 2010.

The project will convert a 1,500-square-foot house into Beerfish's dining room, while an adjacent parking lot will be transformed into a 1,300-square-foot patio. Kaase says he's going for a seafood shack look, something bright and airy that invokes the East Coast waterfront; Bells & Whistles will be making the design a reality.

When Beerfish opens in late Summer 2014, Kaase wants it to be a group-friendly place; on the half-covered outdoor patio filled with picnic tables, you'll share pitchers of beer and carafes of wine that'll be poured from their 24 taps and a menu of casual seafood, including a raw bar stocked with oysters and shellfish, steamed lobsters and lobster rolls, fish sandwiches and crab boils.
