Just when we thought that Bruxie, the SoCal-based chain of Belgian waffle sandwich specialists, had given up on San Diego, a reader wrote in to say that waffles are indeed on the way. According to a Facebook page, the waffle shop is currently hiring for a new location "very close to SDSU." No word yet on exact location or opening date. [EaterWire]
