Nanobrewery Opens; Fire Fundraiser; Chef Pop-Up

KEARNY MESACouncil Brewing Company, the newest beer spot to open in the Convoy area, is up and running at 7705 Convoy Court. Operating hours for the nanobrewery's new tasting room are Tuesday to Thursday, 2 to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. [EaterWire]

PACIFIC BEACHTable 926 chef/owner Matt Richman is partnering with Events Uncorked for a fundraiser to support fire relief. From 4 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28, the restaurant will offer happy hour prices on beer and wine and 100% of the proceeds will go to the American Red Cross to support the victims affected by the San Diego fires. BANKERS HILL— Doods Foods, the permanent pop-up inside The Tin Can will be sharing their kitchen for second installment of the "nobodies cooking dinner" series.
