Henebery1.jpgGaslamp's Saltbox is throwing a dinner party May 22 and Henebery whiskey is the guest of honor. Expect six small plates prepared by Chef Jeremiah Bryant and cocktails crafted by Saltbox's bartender dream team. One pairing is Lacquered Pork Belly with charred spring onions and fried green garlic served with a Summertime Boulevardier that's packed with whiskey, Aperol, apricot brandy, peach bitters and a lemon twist. Tickets are $35, with partial proceeds going to Rachel's Women's Center. Saltbox was one of the first establishments to pour the whiskey brand in San Diego. [EaterWire]
