German Wine Tasting; New Food Fest; Pizza Opening

CARLSBAD— The founder of the I Love Poke Festival is partnering with gourmet shop Baker & Olive on a new food festival called NorthEats that'll be held at the Hilton Oceanfront Carlsbad Resort on Sunday, April 13 from 4 to 7 p.m. Over 20 North County restaurants will be participating, including Wrench & Rodent Seabasstropub, Blue Ribbon Artisan Pizzeria, CUCINA Enoteca, Priority Public House and more, plus watch pro surfers Taylor Knox and Benji Weatherly in a live cooking competition.
