The Cohn Restaurant Group is finally moving forward with the reboot of Indigo Grill, which shuttered temporarily this week.
According to a message on the hospitality group's website from executive chef/partner Deborah Scott, the Little Italy eatery will reopen on May 27 with a "décor makeover and an exciting new menu."
Designer Michael Soriano (Queenstown, The Pearl) was initially attached but is no longer on this project. Indigo Grill's Facebook page is being updated with photos of the redo underway.
Chef Jason Maitland (Arterra, Flavor Del Mar) will be refreshing the menu under Deborah Scott's direction; early reports say the food will stay Latin and South American-themed, with healthier dish options and resized, shareable plates.
The CRG's next opening will be BO-beau kitchen + rooftap in Long Beach, set to debut May 15. Eater also got an update on the timing of OB Warehouse's launch, which is planned for mid-June.
