LITTLE ITALY— It's citrus extravaganza day at Ballast Point Tasting Room and Kitchen. The brewery will release a limoncello-inspired beer made in collaboration with Eater San Diego at 5 p.m. today; also on tap, Colby Chandler's East Meets West IPA. Both beers were made with locally-grown lemons from Rancho Del Sol Organics, who will be in attendance. Other lemon specials for the night include homemade lemonade beer radlers with Longfin Lager and shandies with their Pale Ale, plus chef Colin MacLaggan's fennel and lemon stuffed porchetta and a caramelized lemon tart. Yeah, it's gonna be good. [EaterWire]
