NORMAL HEIGHTS— Cocktail haven Sycamore Den is celebrating its first anniversary this Saturday with a grand ole party that coincide with Adams Avenue Unplugged. From noon to 10 p.m., there will be special cocktails from Rumbling Tins Co., street tacos by Taquizas el Unico and even a Cynar ice luge. Drinking will continue outside on the back parking lot, where breweries on site, including , Modern Times Beer, Karl Strauss and Monkey Paw will add to the festivities. [EaterWire]

CITY HEIGHTSNate's Garden Grill is hosting a beer and food pairing they're calling Flights and Bites that's a can't-miss for sour beer fans. This Saturday starting at 4 p.m., a $45 ticket gets you four courses of food paired with four beers from the Bay Area's farm-to-barrel Almanac Beer Co.. The brewery's latest release, their Farmers Reserve Pluot, will be matched with grilled fruit and house cured pork belly while a pretzel bun stuffed with grass fed beer, fig jam, bleu cheese and caramelized onions should go nicely with Almanac's award-winning Dogpatch Sour. EAST VILLAGE— On Sunday at 5 p.m., the SILO space in Makers Quarter will be the site of Bombay Bazaar, a fundraiser for Just Call Us Volunteers.
