A tipster shared that after more that two years as corporate chef for Whisknladle Hospitality, Sam Burman is no longer with the company. Burman, whose background includes two years at TRU in Chicago, says that he plans to stay and cook in San Diego while Whisknladle owner Arturo Kassel tells Eater that they're actively seeking a "special somebody" to work with executive chef Ryan Johnston on growing the company. Kassel says this right person "shares our culinary sensibilities, has the multi-unit experience and the management & leadership skills to ensure this company's future is bright." [EaterWire]
