New at Blind Burro; Brewery Debut; Free Gelato

EAST VILLAGE— There's a slew of new going on at The Blind Burro, including additions to brunch, lunch and dinner; highlights from the menu include tasty garlic-chile shrimp skewers served with tomatillo-avocado kale slaw, tacos topped with coffee-rubbed salmon or crispy cauliflower and a chicken tinga torts stuffed with chipotle-braised chicken. They've also expanded their weekly Thursday night dim sum cart service (7 to 11 p.m.) to feature Baja egg rolls, Baja-style meatballs in noodle soup, weekly specials and sake bomb-inspired drinks, including a shot of cinnamon tequila with lemonade. DOWNTOWN— Gelato Paradiso, which opened earlier this year in The Headquarters is launching a sweet deal next month.
