Some bittersweet news broke over the weekend; the much-beloved Farm House Cafe, which opened on Adams Avenue in 2008 has sold. The restaurant's last day of service will be February 28.
Chef/owner Olivier Bioteau and his wife Rochelle will hand over the keys to Mike Almos, a South Park-based chef who will open a farm-to-table, retro-Americana eatery in the space.
The couple retains ownership of the Farm House Cafe concept and name, and told Eater that they plan to seek out another restaurant site that's substantially larger than the 1,000-square-feet they've been working with in University Heights.
In Facebook post, the chef wrote, "we are going to take a few months to rest, refresh, visit family in France, regroup and reopen in a space that will allow us to grow culinarily and creatively."
The U-T says that the restaurant replacing Farm House will be called Circa and is due in April.
