New French-Italian; Food Movie Screening; Wine Dinner

OTAY RANCH— The group behind the Karina's Mexican Seafood is getting fancy with their newest project, a fine dining spot called Savoie Eatery that just opened in the Otay Ranch Town Center. Serving a French-Italian menu, which includes short ribs with polenta, filet of sole stuffed with lobster and crepes suzette, the new restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. [EaterWire]

LITTLE ITALY— Tonight's planned showing of the film Chocolat at Caxao Artisan Chocolates has been cancelled due to inclement weather, but the outdoor movie screening is rescheduled for 6 p.m. on Friday March 7. [EaterWire]

RANCHO BERNARDOAVANT at the Rancho Bernardo Inn is hosting a wine dinner on Tuesday, March 11 in La Taberna, their private event space.
