Restaurant Plans Scrapped for MidPark on 30th Street

New, 1 comment

Several Eater readers have been asking for a status update on MidPark, the new restaurant that was slated to open this spring on 30th Street at the borders of the North Park and South Park neighborhoods.

There's now a new For Lease sign in front of the former laundromat and one of the MidPark's partners, Frank Scuito, tells Eater that the build out of the 2,500-square-foot space just became too unwieldy and they subsequently made the decision to pull out of the project.

Scuito says that he doesn't know if they'll try to resurrect the project in a different location; for now, he's focusing on running his family's three Tio Leo's.
