Werewolf Grand Opens; Bar Has Bands; Sonoma Wineries

DOWNTOWNWerewolf American Pub, the new Gaslamp eatery from the co-owners of The Waterfront, officially grand opens this Saturday, February 22 with a party that includes pot-bellied pig giveaways (!), a free bottle of champagne for every reservation of four or more that night and a hairy chest contest which kicks off at 9:45 p.m. The winner will receive free bottle service, which the bar is launching on Saturday; service includes the Skinny Jeans package, featuring cans of PBR, bottles of Fernet and bacon. NORMAL HEIGHTSSycamore Den has launched free live music programming and is now hosting bands on Thursdays at 9 p.m. and Sundays at 8 p.m.; on Thursday, February 27 they'll present Miss Erika Davies, Stephen Rey and songstress Eliza Rickman. The cocktail bar will also have local DJs in on Mondays and Wednesdays; Hopscotch with DJ Fishfonics and DJ Who on Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m. will feature a $5 beer and a shot special. [EaterWire]

BALBOA PARK— 50 wineries from Sonoma County will be in town on Wednesday, March 5 for a Taste of Sonoma event held at The Prado.
