Beer Cocktail Collab; Pizza Port Pop-Up; Cocktail Dinner

LITTLE ITALY— On Thursday, February 13, Craft & Commerce is launching a monthly beer cocktail collaboration and kicking off the series with Modern Times Beer. The brewing team will be at the bar from 6 to 9 p.m. for the drinks' debut; the beer cocktails featured include Isla Bonita made with Fortunate Islands, grapefruit, St. Germain and mezcal and the Blazing Gun, which incorporates the brewery's Blazing World with lime, Averna and peat-y scotch. OCEAN BEACH— Local Habit chef Nick Brune is planning a one-night-only pop-up called Storytellers atop the roof of Pizza Port Ocean Beach on Sunday, February 23. He'll serve five locally sourced, organic courses inspired by the music of Katie Leigh and the Infantry, who'll be playing live during the dinner. DOWNTOWNCocktail consultants Rumbling Tins Co. are partnering with The Westgate Hotel for a cocktail-paired dinner and cocktail demonstration scheduled for Thursday, March 13. The three course meal, prepared by chef Fabrice Hardel, will include beef tenderloin paired with "The Old Rye Sage" (Rye, Cynar, muddled Sage, Absinthe) and more; tickets are $79. [EaterWire]
