Inside Bottlecraft's New Beefed Up Bottle Shop & Tap Room in Little Italy

Lots more beer, in bottles and on tap.

Over the weekend, Bottlecraft Beer Shop quietly opened their new bottle shop and tasting room at 2252 India Street in Little Italy, just stone's throw from their original India Street store.

The larger storefront has a bar fed by 25 draft lines, and a retail beer section and an upstairs space perched atop the cold box that will be used for private events, classes and additional seating; it's open from noon to 10 p.m. on weekdays and 11:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

For now, Bottlecraft is allowing bring-your-own-food or delivery from area eateries, including Napizza's shop nearby, but owner Brian Jensen says he's in talks with RakiRaki Ramen & Tsukemen's Junya Wantanabe to figure out a way for the Japanese restaurant to also feed the tasting room when it opens in an adjacent space next year.
