Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits' spectacular and sprawling new brewery, which has been open since October, has been hosting a steady stream of food trucks as they put the finishing touches on the large-scale restaurant housed in the Miramar compound.
According to Facebook, the restaurant is now open for lunch and dinner; it's the first full service restaurant for the brewery, which means table service and the ability to make reservations. Their first eatery in Little Italy, which currently has a walk-up ordering format, will soon also transition into a full service, sit-down style restaurant.
Executive chef Colin MacLaggan crafted the menu for Ballast Point's Miramar location, which augments their existing Tasting Room & Kitchen menu with additional appetizers and more robust entree options, including a steak with truffle fries and a pork chop served with mushroom bread pudding.
