MIRAMAR— Local distillery Malahat Spirits Co., which launched a tasting room in early October, has expanded their hours. They've been welcoming visitors on Thursdays and Fridays from noon to 6:30 p.m. and starting this weekend, they will be open on Saturdays from 2 to 5:30 p.m. with tastings of their spirits (currently a variety of rums) scheduled every half hour.
