Eater readers noticed that Kelly's Pub in Old Town has gone through a makeover and a friend of Eater sent us a photo of the newly remodeled bar, which soft opened during the holidays.
The old watering hole is now called Home & Away, a new sports bar and grill that reportedly shares the same ownership as North Park's Thorn St. Brewery. So naturally, there's craft beer here — 22 taps— plus a full bar and ten TVs for your game-watching pleasure.
Until the new year, the bar is operating with limited hours, serving a compact food menu that includes burgers, grilled cheese, salad, wings and an order of bacon.
