Tender Greens Heads to Mission Valley for Fourth San Diego Location

Here's a holiday gift for local fans of Tender Greens, the fast-casual favorite that first expanded to San Diego in 2008 with the opening of its Liberty Station location.

Joining the Tender Greens outposts in Westfield UTC and Downtown San Diego, and its Garden annex that feeds the Commuter Terminal of San Diego International, will be a new restaurant located in Westfield Mission Valley (1640 Camino Del Rio North).

Tender Greens will take up residence in one of the shopping center's anchor spaces that used to house a Loehmann's; a rep who confirmed the expansion said the restaurant is currently scheduled for a Summer 2015 opening,

The thriving company, which will launch a new breakfast menu at its West Broadway eatery in January, is on a steady growth plan, with several more locations in the works for the Los Angeles area and in development for Denver and Seattle.
