A Reminder to Tip Your Eater

We work for you.

Tipsters, we heart you. You are the lifeblood. You keep us afloat with all of your intel, rumormongering, rants, photos, and gossip spilling. Your generous tips help us strive to be the best source for local food news. This season, and always, we're thankful for you.

For newcomers, here's quick reminder on how you can join the fun: Spot a new bar in the neighborhood? Have a tidbit about the next hot restaurant? Heard about a chef shuffle? Got thoughts on the best pizza in town or what's missing from this town's dining scene? Or maybe you just need to vent about a bad experience to the Eater Complaints Department. All this and more is totally acceptable and very welcome to the tipline. The tipline is here for you; just drop a note to or use our handy tipping form.

Photos— from plywood signage to sneak peaks— are especially encouraged. Anonymity guaranteed, of course. The tipline needs you and all of the rumors, openings, closings, and whatever other restaurant, chef and bar-related news you might know. Or have overheard. Or are curious about. At Eater, even small tips are valued and appreciated.
