Our tipline has been flooded with questions about the eatery that's slowly been taking shape at the corner of 30th and Lincoln in North Park.

Rumors have swirled, and after months of building anticipation, the business has finally unveiled a sign at 4002 30th Street and launched a Facebook page, where they're been teasing out hints of what's to come.

The newly-revealed name, StreetCar Merchants of Fried Chicken, Doughnuts & Coffee, makes it pretty clear what the menu will focus on, and photos indicate that the kitchen has been cooking up batches of fried chicken and testing doughnuts in flavors that include a vanilla bean glaze and lemon curd with a topper of toasted Swiss meringue. And it looks like StreetCar will be carrying Intelligensia Coffee, which has coffee bars in Chicago, LA and NYC.

The new space is also loaded with beer taps, a prerequisite for its 30th Street location.

The big question is, when can you eat all this deliciousness? The eatery has yet to announce a launch date. Have more intel? Send it our way!
