Quality Social, the "luxury dive bar" that first opened in the Gaslamp in early 2010, had its swan song last night and officially shut the downtown venue's doors today.
Co-owner Christopher Dexter, whose Element Collective is behind multiple food and drink concepts in the Chicago area, hasn't completely ruled out doing business here despite Quality Social's shutter, saying in a statement that the "door is open for potential projects in San Diego in the future."
There's been no official word released about Dexter's plans or if the space at the corner of 6th Avenue and F Street is up for grabs. Have any intel? Send it our way.
