KEARNY MESAA friend of Eater sent us a photo of a new restaurant that'll replace Philadelphia Sandwich Co. Coming soon to 3904 Convoy Street is Sang Devan, which will specialize in Thai and Lao cuisines. [EaterWire]

CARMEL VALLEYPeri Peri, the South African restaurant that opened earlier this year is apparently no more. According to a tipster, a sign on the door says the eatery is closed until further notice. [EaterWire]

MISSION HILLSThe Patio on Goldfinch's resident craft cocktail expert, Chris Simmons, is debuting the restaurant's lineup of barrel-aged cocktails starting Wednesday at 4 p.m. Among the drinks, which have been resting for several months, are Walk the Plank, a blend of rum, butterscotch schnapps and peppercorns, and a tequila twist on an old fashioned. NORMAL HEIGHTSEscape from your family's Thanksgiving table and meet up with friends at Sycamore Den on Thursday, where local cocktail crew Rumbling Tins Co. will be hosting their own celebration, complete with a live band, at 8 p.m. Bring a donation of canned food in exchange for free bites from The French Gourmet and $6 Jaegermeister specialty cocktails.
