Readers have been asking us for updates on Southpaw Social Club, which shuttered late last month after first opening in mid-2013.

The official statement from Good Time Design, which runs a slew of other venues in the neighborhood including The Blind Burro and Moonshine Flats, explains the closure was a result of a breakdown within the partnership, and that with several new projects in the works, they felt that the group's financial resources and management manpower could be put to better use.

Capital Real Estate Ventures' Justin Earley says that the 4,200-square-foot space, with another 2,100-square-feet of outdoor patio, is still on the market; interested parties can contact him directly.
