Grab a beer and a bite and enjoy the free wifi, or take some food and a six-pack to go.

Local beer gurus Coronado Brewing Company, who opened a Bay Park brewery and tasting room last year, are almost ready to launch their new 90-seat tasting room/restaurant in Imperial Beach. They've hit a few construction delays but a rep for the company says they hope to open for business on November 3.

The Imperial Beach location will be a sort of hybrid between the aforementioned tasting room and the Coronado Island brewpub. While beer won't actually be made on-site, it will be plentiful: Sixteen beers will be available on tap, including ten specialty and seasonal rotators.

The food menu will be similar to what's available at the existing Coronado Island brewpub — think burgers, calamari, and fish tacos — with a few new additions promised. All food will be available to-go, and bottled beer will also be available for retail sale in either 22-ounce bottles or 12-ounce six packs, as well as growler fills.

With the exception of the seats at the bar top, the eatery will be all ages; there's also free wifi, with USB and power outlets and at every table, while the patio features all-booth seating replete with ocean views.
