Day of the Dead at Don Chido; New Soju-Based Cocktails

Don Chido celebrates Dia de los Muertos; Saja makes new soju cocktails; Prepkitchen's Halloween plans.

GASLAMP-- Dia de los Muertos is alive and well at Don Chido this weekend, with specialty cocktails, late night tacos and a live DJ on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, from 9pm-midnight. Friday night's cocktail is the El Diablo (translation: "the devil") and Saturday it's La Ofrenda, which means "offering." [EaterWire]

GASLAMP-- Korean bistro Saja Kitchen just added two new soju-based cocktails during happy hour for just $4 a pop: The So Ju Want Me (watermelon, jalapeno, lemon, sugar and soju) and the Saja Mule (soju, ginger beer, fresh lime). [EaterWire]

LITTLE ITALY-- Prepkitchen's extended all-night Halloween happy hour comes cheap in the bar and lounge, from 6pm until close. Treats include handcrafted cocktails, mediterranean-inspired tapas, glasses of red and white wines, draft beers and glasses of sangria--all for $5 each. The restaurant will also be handing out candy to kids trick-or-treating on India Street. [EaterWire]
