DEL MAR--Longtime chef, partner and friend of Pacifica Del Mar, Chris Idso, will be leaving the restaurant after 15 years to move to Hawaii with his family. Filling Idso’s shoes will be Executive Chef Chris Powell, whose culinary experience includes reputable restaurants like Bali Hai, Rancho Valencia and Roy’s.
