What's the neighborhood missing?

As Little Italy's streets fill with exciting new food and drink projects, Eater has word of a yet-unclaimed spot that's recently become available just a block from India Street at the corner of Cedar and Columbia.

Creative House president Douglas Hamm and Brendan Foote, principal of Fabric Investments, have teamed up to purchase a 750-square-foot building at 444 W. Cedar Street which for years housed a local union.

The partners are looking to lease the space to a retail tenant, anything from coffee to ice cream to a small eatery, and tell Eater that there's opportunity for the structure to be expanded; the 2,500-square-foot lot also has room for a large patio.

What does the neighborhood need? Weigh in and spread the word.
