Chris Burkett, who took over the bar at Cusp Dining & Drinks when head bartender Nate Howell left to establish the new cocktail program at the revamped Jsix, is now taking over Howell's post at the East Village eatery.
Burkett, who like Howell, trained in Chicago's cocktail scene, has rolled out his first menu for Jsix, which is based on fall flavors and features drinks that are visually layered; the Sycophant's Desire has spiced rum, bourbon, fig-cinnamon syrup and a float of stout while gin, jasmine tea syrup, lemon and hibiscus make up The Red Queen.
