Breakfast & Booze; Del Mar's Snooze is Now Open

After a series of practice meals, all benefitting local charities, Snooze is ready to officially open its newest eatery on Friday in the Del Mar Highlands Town Plaza. The Denver-based, family-owned company is hoping that North County will embrace its comfort food offerings and brunch cocktails that made its Hillcrest location such an out-of-the-box hit.

The menu here, anchored by gussied up egg and pancake dishes at breakfast, is virtually identical to all Snooze outposts, though the San Diego spots source locally from Bread & Cie and Suzie's Farm.

The Del Mar Snooze's 4,000-square-foot space has seating for 110, and a large outdoor patio. Operating hours are a little different than Hillcrest's; here they're open from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Del Mar is the seventh Snooze and it's still unknown whether Snooze will continue to grow in San Diego; they did tell Eater that their next expansion will be to Phoenix.
