OB Noodle House to Open Second Ocean Beach Eatery

New, 3 comments

Six year-old OB Noodle House is currently suffering from "the curse of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives". After the Ocean Beach eatery was featured on Guy Fieri's show last month, owner Steve Yeng says the wait for a table on the weekends can span to two hours.

Yeng, who grew in OB, doesn't want to frustrate the local community who has supported his restaurant and his family's nearby donut shop, so he's building another OB Noodle House that'll accommodate everyone from the neighborhood.

Located less than a mile from the original, the new OB Noodle House will take over the 4.000-square-foot space of The Blue Parrot, just a block from the beach.

Due to open by mid-November, it'll offer the same menu of Asian dishes, including pho and stir fried noodles, as its older sibling; a new liquor license means an expanded cocktail program and bar dubbed Bar 1502.
