Pop-Up Parklets

Today is Park(ing) Day, a coordinated sit-in to temporarily transform metered parking spots into public parks, or "parklets". Caffe Calabria got the first official parklet and among the local businesses taking part today are Sea Rocket Bistro, who'll have free bike tune-ups and Roast Coach Coffee Bar on hand, City Heights' Super Cocina, Mama's Bakery & Deli, and downtown's Donut Bar.
