Apparently we've got donuts on the brain because the latest menu board at downtown's Donut Bar caught our eye.
The hot donut shop will have two new flavors in stock this weekend, a root beer float version and a donut rendition of a Monte Cristo sandwich. This handheld meal encases sliced ham, havarti cheese and fresh cranberry and raspberry compote inside the dough before frying; afterwards, it gets a light dusting of powdered sugar.
It'll be available on Friday and Saturday, along with Donut Bar's Cronut copycat, the Crobar, which necessitates a pre-order via their Facebook page.
