After a 12 million dollar makeover, The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe has taken the wraps off of their new signature restaurant, Morada.
Architect Lilian J. Rice built a Spanish Revival-style guesthouse called La Morada, or "the house of many rooms", and designed many other Rancho Santa Fe core buildings during the 1920's. In 1940, La Morada was sold and renamed The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe.
A former ballroom was transformed into the new dining space, which includes a patio, bar and lounge with local beer taps, and private dining rooms. The Inn's executive chef Todd Allison (Anthology) is in charge of building a seasonally-inspired menu that employs produce grown on site and sourced from local farms.
