Status Update: Checking In With Former La Villa Chef

After hearing about Anthony Sinsay taking over the kitchen at La Villa, lots of Eater readers asked us what happened to the restaurant's departing chef, Christopher O'Donnell.

On behalf of his fans, we checked in with the seasonally-minded cook, whose food at La Villa just got raves in a too-little-too-late review in Riviera.

O'Donnell told Eater that he's currently evaluating a few different gigs to find a "great fit" while also contemplating the possibility of a restaurant space of his own. The chef says that he "wanted to thank everyone who supported him over the years and can't wait to see all of them soon." We'll update you when he lands somewhere; in the meantime, keep up with the chef on his Twitter.
