El Agave Set for November Opening in Del Mar

2013 has been a busy year for El Agave owner Juan Carlos Gomez.

Gomez just opened his new Spanish tapas restaurant, Iberico Spanish Bistro, in La Jolla. Now, he's announced that the newest iteration of his popular El Agave Restaurant and Tequileria in Old Town is scheduled to be completed by November.

It'll take the Del Mar Plaza spot vacated by Flavor Del Mar, serving "Mexican nouvelle cuisine" and boasting a tequila "museum" loaded with more than 2,000 premium tequilas. The restaurant will offer the same menu as their Old Town location, and will be open for lunch and dinner, seven days a week.
