Awards Season

The San Diego County Chapter of the California Restaurant Association, a membership-based group, handed out their Gold Medallion Awards at an industry gala held last night at Town & Country Resort. Among the evening's big winners: CUCINA urbana, which took home Best Italian Fine Dining and the People's Choice Award for Favorite Restaurant. Bankers Hill Bar & Restaurant nabbed a Best Neighborhood Restaurant award and La Jolla's Nine-Ten Restaurant scored a top spot for Best Hotel Restaurant/Fine Dining. [EaterWire]
