Seeking New Contributors & Summer Interns

New, 1 comment

Eater San Diego is looking to expand our team. The number one requirement is that you eat, sleep, and breathe the San Diego restaurant scene - and it certainly doesn't hurt if you read Eater obsessively. We're looking to cover even more of this city's restaurant, bar and nightlife scene through in-depth reporting, interviews and original features. With that in mind, we're seeking a new contributor or two. These are freelance positions; if you're interested, please drop us a line at sandiego@eater.com with a brief description of yourself and why you'd be right for Eater. Links to a blog or any writing samples would be helpful.

But wait, that's not all. Looking for a cool summer experience? We're looking for an intern too. An interest in journalism is a huge plus, as is a bag of varied tricks. Can you write, shoot gorgeous photos or video, and talk to strangers with ease? Can you transcribe interviews while keeping an ear out for breaking news? This internship is unpaid, but you will have the chance to build up your writing and/or photography portfolio and meet fascinating folks in the restaurant industry. Again, send us a note about why you're a good fit for Eater and a link to your blog or portfolio if you've got one. If we like what we see, we'll get back to you soon. Thanks!
