FISH PUBLIC is open tonight at 5 p.m., fresh from a two-month cosmetic switcheroo from Kensington Grill .
The 3,500-square-foot restaurant has a light beach cottage feel, with custom artwork made from pieces of old fishing boats.
Reports from the tipline about an early preview were favorable; FISH PUBLIC's new chef, Jordan Davis, developed an accessibly-priced menu ($11 and $25) of seafood cuisine from both coasts that includes ceviche, fish tacos, an oyster bar, whole fish and desserts from Urban Kitchen Group's chief of sweets, Jack Fisher.
