Moe Sadighian has been busy. The prolific restaurateur (downtown's The Reef, El Pulpo and Funky Garcia's) just completed a recent switcheroo, turning his 4th Avenue space, formerly Tabule, into a pizzeria and bar called The New Yorker.
The New Yorker opened in April and now Sadighian's onto two new projects; the next slated to come online is The Standard Bar & Grill at 536 5th Avenue next to Burger Lounge.
The new 3,000-square-foot gastropub is a collaboration with his restaurant partner, A&M Rehab Construction, and Sadighian said that it'll be a mash-up of "Side Bar, Blind Burro and barleymash"
The focus is on craft beer (20 taps) and craft cocktails, with a food menu that promises to have global influences, from French to "Baja flair"; The Standard Bar & Grill should open this summer.
