New, 1 comment

KEARNY MESA — A tip of our hat to two food blog friends who alerted us to a couple new openings in the Convoy area. A Radiused Corner checked out Szechuan Chef in the Convoy Village Plaza, which replaces Quoc Te. Head over to his menu blog to see glossy photos of the spicy Chinese cuisine. The eateries within the new Zion Market (7655 Clairemont Mesa Blvd) have started to open; Kirbie's Cravings reports that Paris Baguette and CDD Tofu & Grill are up and running. [EaterWire]

NORMAL HEIGHTS Sycamore Den is celebrating their official grand opening on Tuesday, June 11 from 7 to 10 p.m. and you're invited to the party; they'll even buy you a drink, a hosted George Dickel Tennessee Whisky housewarming cocktail. The cocktail den's having the GreenGo Grilled Cheese truck cruise by for hungry revelers. [EaterWire]

CARLSBAD — Have you checked out what Prager Brothers Artisan Breads has in the oven? The new artisan bakery has amended their retail hours; they'll now be open on Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. [EaterWire]
