Del Mar's Sea & Smoke made Eater National's list of the country's Top 35 Most Anticipated Openings of Spring and Summer. It's in good company, sharing the list with a new restaurant from Top Chef Texas winner Paul Qui and another Portland eatery from Pok Pok's Andy Ricker.
Owner Matt Gordon shares that the project's launch has been pushed back until late June, early July, but construction is moving forward. Gordon just tweeted a demolition photo and the chef's been documenting the process on Sea & Smoke's blog.
