LIBERTY STATION— Tickets are now on sale for the 4th annual Eat. Drink. Read., a culinary event for literacy scheduled for Wednesday, May 22 at the NTC Promenade McMillin Center. The night will feature book-inspired dishes from San Diego restaurant chefs, including Jsix, The Lion's Share, Craft & Commerce, Amaya La Jolla and more. The $65 admission cost includes wine and beer.

NORTH PARKHubcap started slinging burgers on April 24, but Tuesday is their official grand opening. Starting at 5 p.m. tomorrow, all drinks are $5, pitchers of special cocktails are $25 and $15 gets you a burger, fries and a soda or Saint Archer beer. Newly added to Hubcap's menu: a kids burger and roasted vegetables. [EaterWire]

AROUND TOWN— A reader pointed us to a photo captured by the East Village's craft beer bar Neighborhood that shows a delivery truck advertising MillerCoors' Blue Moon as "artfully crafted" and deems the beer "San Diego's Finest". Last time we checked, that beer was neither. [Twitter]
