The Pearl's Farm Pop-Up; New Italian For Convoy

POINT LOMA— If farm dinners are your thing, don't miss the one-night-only event being organized by The Pearl's Jaison Burke on Saturday, June 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. He'll be cooking a four course, family-style vegetarian picnic at nearby Herb En Routes, a 1/4-acre urban farm that supplies the chef with much of his menu's produce. KEARNY MESA— In December, Voltero's Pizza closed their Balboa Ave. shop to move into to a much larger location in the Convoy Village Plaza (4344 Convoy St.) and their new remodeled space is due to open in early June.
