They're launching with a limited menu, starting with just a fraction of their entire sausage rundown (23 different varieties). For now, customize a smoked bratwurst, beef frankfurter, chicken, Sicilian pork or spicy Polish sausage with your choice of toppings or sauces. A week from now, when the full menu kicks in, chef Carlos Sanmartano will be making 20% of the links in-house.
Drinks-wise, there's a great draft (20 taps) and bottle list and a selection of classic cocktails that can be sipped straight or spiffed up Salt & Cleaver-style; the soft open menu includes a traditional Tom Collins ($9) and an S&C version made with Ballast Point Old Grove Gin, lemongrass simple syrup, citrus juice and soda ($11).
