Eater's just learned that three more well-known eateries have signed leases to join Pizzeria Mozza and Puesto as anchor restaurant tenants in downtown's The Headquarters at Seaport District.
Confirmed to take over a prime spot in the new 100,000-square-foot retail, dining and entertainment complex is a second San Diego outpost of Eddie V's, an upscale steak and seafood restaurant which will take over the former courthouse section of the old police building. Their two-level, 7,500-square-foot space will include two private dining rooms and live jazz in the V Lounge.
Also opening a second location in The Headquarters (the first is in the UTC mall) is Seasons 52, a grill and wine bar with seasonally-inspired healthy menu of dishes under 475 calories. Their 9,900-square-foot restaurant includes a large bar area and patio.
And finally, casual dining chain The Cheesecake Factory is bringing its ginormous portions and that famous cheesecake into a 10,400-square-foot space. All restaurants are scheduled to debut with The Headquarters in October.
