Hubcap Takes The Wheel At El Take It Easy

Here's what we know so far about what's coming to 3926 30th St, soon after El Take It Easy holds its final farewell on Monday, April 22.

The new restaurant will be called Hubcap. While El Take It Easy's taco-focused lineup took influence from Mexico, Hubcap's direction is "vintage American" and the menu will hinge on grass fed beef burgers, with no item over $10. ETIE currently features a grass fed beef burger, served on a house made bun with tallow fries, for $14; the burgers at Hubcap will be different.

It remains to be seen how Hubcap's full menu will shape up, and if it'll bear any resemblance to The Linkery, but we're hearing that it will not offer sausages.
